To recognise your own feelings it’s worth taking a look at one of the many ‘feelings wheels’ that are readily available from your favourite search engine. First and foremost, can you recognise your feelings and are those feelings being recognised by others.If you are one of those expressive people, can you learn emotional control so that what you are thinking is not so obvious? Many would say that it’s obvious we all need some level of emotional expression because an appropriate or inappropriate level of expressiveness either draws people to us or sees them keep their distance.īut what about those people that have too little emotional control so that their face and body language is so expressive that people say “I can read you like a book” whether the feelings they are expressing are positive or negative.
