In 2006, the British performer acted as an ally of James Bond in Casino Royale, playing the right arm of Judi Dench ‘s character. In it, he personifies Marcus Junius Brutus, a young man torn between good and evil during the time of ancient Rome. In continuity, the actor accumulates a few passages in feature films like the dramatic comedy Piccadilly Jim, whose headliners are none other than Sam Rockwell and Frances O’Connor, until he landed a leading role in the historical series Rome. He took his first steps on British screens in 1998, appearing in several productions such as Inspector Barnaby, Foyle’s War and The Low Down with Aidan Gillen.
